Are You Curious about the Hallelujah Diet?
The Hallelujah Diet® is a shining star lighting up the dark and confusing realm of diets. It seems there’s always the new fad diet of the month! Everybody who wants to lose weight gets all excited about the next diet that promises easy weight loss.
What’s Different?
The Hallelujah Diet® is different. It’s the program taught by Rev. George and Rhonda Malkmus. Rev. Malkmus was told he had colon cancer in 1976. He decided to not follow the medical route of treatment and healed himself with a diet of raw fruits, vegetables and
juices
.He then went on to formulate the Hallelujah Acres Diet which is a plant-based diet consisting of
85% raw, uncooked food*
and 15% cooked whole foods. *An important part of the teachings is that God in the Bible, Genesis 1:29, tells us what to eat: God also said, ‘Look, to you I give all the seed-bearing plants everywhere on the surface of the earth, and all the trees with seed-bearing fruit; this will be your food.’
85% Raw
There’s an abundance of raw plant foods to eat and enjoy: vegetables and
fruits
, sprouted grains and beans, nuts that you can make into nut milks as a substitute for dairy, fresh raw juices, small amounts of raw oils and seasonings.
15% Cooked
The cooked portion is made up of vegetables, grains, beans, herbal teas, nondairy milks and nondairy cheeses (use sparingly), natural sweeteners and oils, and seasonings.
The Daily Routine
Upon arising, take
BarleyMax®
. If you feel the need for something solid, eat some fruit or a smoothie. Midmorning, drink 8 ounces of vegetable juice (2/3 carrot, 1/3 greens). At lunchtime, have another serving of BarleyMax® followed 20 minutes later by a raw vegetable salad. In the middle of the afternoon, drink another glass of carrot/vegetable juice, have a serving of CarrotJuiceMax™, or eat some carrot or celery sticks.

For dinner, eat another large green salad 20 minutes after another serving of BarleyMax®. After your salad, eat the cooked portion of the diet. This could be steamed veggies, a baked potato, brown rice, beans, or cooked squash.I’ve just hit the highlights. For a more in-depth explanation, visit the Hallelujah Acres website . You’ll find answers to a long list of questions about the diet, testimonials, and information about classes.
So, forget about the fad diet-of-the-month. The Hallelujah Diet® will easily allow you to arrive at a healthy weight and you will enjoy dazzingly good health!
