On Medications...What Formula Can I Feed My Son if I Have to?

(Sacramento, CA, USA)

When my son was three months old, I had to put him on formula because I was started on a bipolar medication. He's on Similac and I'm thinking of switching to Safeway's O Organics brand, however, it has corn syrup solids in it. I don't know what's safe to give him anymore. He's almost a year old now and I'm wondering if it's too late for him, what can I do. He's going to start on whole milk, which I will choose Organic to stay away from the hormones, and is that going to be ok?
